Is this a decent build?

Solution
Solid build but I would buy the system Memory in dual channel, so the kits sold as 2 4gb sticks for 8gb. I'm not sure if they are on sale in Austrialia but Samsung 860 Evo SSDs are on sale here in the states, and although not necessary are really nice to have for a boot and primary game drive.

What does the dual channel do exactly? Will it make any difference to the performance?

see the read and write speeds its worth the money if you can afford it plus ssd has a warranty cover of about 5 years the wd blue has about 2 to 3 year cover :)

I would recommend having a ssd for the os and programs and a hdd for storage plus for larger game installs
