Purpose: Gaming (Diablo 3, Guild Wars 2, LoL, Possibly BF3)

Overclocking?: I will eventually, which is why I am planning to buy this cooler.

SLI or CrossFire?: No

Other notes: I have a keyboard and mouse already. I will probably play off a TV for a little while before buying a monitor. Any suggestions on monitors?

And finally... the parts!

First of all check if there is microcenter close by.

There is no point of getting Mobo with 2 pcix x8/x8 if u don't plan on sli/cf.
Otherwise looks pretty good.
If you not comfortable with ocing ur GPU get a oc version.

A 900MHZ OC'd 560 TI: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130610

I would say 8GB RAM is all I would suggest, however you say you already have.

The motherboard is designed for CF/SLI so if you truly have no plans for that you can find another option and save 50 bucks. Here is a P67 option: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157230
This is a nice new Z68 option that I would likely suggest over that P67 for future proofing:

PSU: Try a Corsair, Antec, Seasonic, XFX over that one, something like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139028

HDD, CPU, Case etc all look fine.

You did your research. Good job.
No need to change a thing.

The video card is fine, and appropriate. I like EVGA.

A factory overclocked card is probably worth it. How about this version for $10 more?

It looks to have a better cooler.

Most monitors these days are really 1080P(1920 x 1080) HD tv's. It is easier to make them cheaper that way. That is not all bad since you can get them in any size.

You would get a bit more display real estate with a 1920 x 1200 monitor. But they are usually a bit more expensive.

I like Samsung for quality. They make the panels for many other brands, and I suspect that they keep the best samples for themselves.

While I do not live by a microcenter, I know someone that is willing to buy parts from there and ship them to me. I would prefer getting the CPU and Mobo from there because it is cheaper. Any suggestions for the Mobo? 😀

Thanks everyone else for input :)
