Is this a decent gaming monitor. Seems to go under the radar a bit

Hi RM,

A 27" 1920x1080 monitor used from fairly close-up may tend to appear a bit grainy due to pixellation.
At that physical panel size, a better (and more expensive) option is to opt for a 2560x1440 resolution to retain the sharpness.

Also, as mentioned above by Kliqx, at 7ms response time, that monitor is not ideal for gaming - particularly if you favour FPS games.

Finally, the design of the panel support may look impressively "modern" but I would guess it doesn't offer too much in terms of adjustment options, which - for gaming - can result in discomfort in prolonged sessions.

My $0.02 worth... :)

Yeah I'm def a sucker for the nice looking white monitors. I can't see the 7ms reponse time being awful for gaming but its certainly not ideal. Like I said in my other post the only 1st person shooter i'd be playing on pc is counter strike and it would just be a fun late night casual thing. Once halo 5 hits though chances are that's going to be my primary 1st person shooter and will only be playing rts games on the pc .

Prob gonna look for something 5ms or lower though just to be on the safe side.
