Is this a decent gaming PC?

I need to build a gaming system on a budget, and I would prefer to stay under $1100 (including the monitor and OS).

Would this system run games such as Borderlands 2, Skyrim, and Far Cry 3 on high settings at 1920 x 1080?

Here's my advice :
Both have a better cpu, the mobo is a good one and not overpriced as the intel one, also better monitor (it's an IPS), better gpus, and a psu as good as the seasonic, also put a very good solid case, it has good value.

The PSU seems kinda pricey for an i3 system, don't you think? You can easily find good PSU's for under $70, and apply the money you saved to upgrade to an i5.

Yes a i3-3220, a crappy b75 board, a crappy ultra psu, and a crappy case.
The suggestion for a build of 1000$, must include a quadcore it's a no brainer getting a i3 with so much to spend.
And the hdd toshiba just sucks, either a WD or seagate are the best ones for hdds.
