I've been searching for a decent but cheap gaming laptop, and i found this:

I'll be using it for school, and gaming (CS GO, Minecraft, Garry's Mod, CoD WaW and maybe some newer games [maybe] like some of the newer Call of Duty's

Currently, I am mainly playing CS GO and I want a CPU that can run it with 75+ fps(or around that) on medium-high settings, would this laptop do that?

I don't think it will spit 75+fps for those games in high settings maybe medium, if you can get a laptop with 960 or higher you have better luck reaching those numbers. also may want to think about upgrading to a 7200rmp hdd or even an SSD if the budget allows

This is a mobile CPU chip. The I7 is misleading cause its actually a duel core chip thats hyper threaded so in desktop terms its an I3. Its probly a great little chip at 15 TDP which means it can conserve energy rather well to run off a laptop battery. as far as gaming goes i would not rely on this for gaming if you want a serious gaming rig; at medium settings this game fps was benched at 30.

If you want to compare the CPU.

one thing i will mention is the hard drive mechanical speed is 5400. It slows down the experience very much.
