Upgrading my PC soon and I was using Ryzen before. But I want to use Intel again, so is this system alright? Are there any suggestions you would make? Roughly the same budget.

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB OC
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600k (stock, i have no interest in oc)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8 @ 2400MHz)
HDD 1: Toshiba 1 TB 3.5 7200RPM
HDD 2: Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 3.5 7200RPM
M.2: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB
PSU: Corsair CXSM 550w
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B365M-H MicroATX

Current is Ryzen 5 1600 with the Prime A320m-k motherboard. So i can't oc the CPU and i'm starting to reach some crazy bottlenecks in some games. Also, here in the UK (all sellers that i looked at) the next upgrade would be a Ryzen 5 3600 which is actually more expensive currently then buying the motherboard, CPU, and Cooler.

No i'm using two 8gb sticks @ 2400MHz. So dual channel. Here is my current setup.

RTX 2060
Ryzen 5 1600
Asus Prime A320M-K
16gb hyperx fury (2x8 @ 2400Mhz)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't have much of an upgrade path with my current build. Where I live (UK) the prices are much higher for some reason compared to intel. The CPU, cooler, and motherboard cost less than a Ryzen 5 3600 for me. If I wanted to get a similar amount of upgrades I would actually have to spend quite a bit more with Ryzen.

Is the stock cooler with the Intel i5-11400 good enough? I don't intend to overclock at all and ofc if i decide in the future i can buy it then and there.

Even an A320 is likely compatible with at least a 3600 or 3600X with a semi-recent BIOS...

Might not defeat the 9600K in peak or even average FPS, but, I bet the .1% and 1% lows are better with Ryzen compared to 9600K's just 6 cores/threads.

If you have the money for all new mainboard and CPU, start shopping at 12600K...

Going back from 12 threads to 6 threads is not a good move. Agree with the others: get an Intel i5-11400 or a Ryzen 3600.
You also need faster RAM because 2400 MT/s is pretty slow for Intel 11th gen and Zen 2.

I run my RAM with 2666MHz speed because of my motherboard, but I don't feel anything slow in my computer to be honest. PC is still very fast. I think difference in performance is very small when it comes to RAM speed.
