Hello!
I'm in the process of building my first gaming PC, I've been looking tons of components and prices and finally came to a conclusion or an outline of my future gaming PC, my question is: is my build functional or it can get better? Or am I doing something wrong? My budget is $1000 as maximum. Here is my build plan:

1. AMD FX 6350 3.9 GHz 6 core
2. Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
3. Graphics card: GeForce GTX 650
4. 12GB of DDR3 RAM
5. CPU Cooler: Artic Freezer A11
6. Hard Drive of 1TB
7. PSU: Corsair CS650W

Thank you for your time and answers.

u really dont need that much headroom for psu .....
get it down to 500w nd get gtx 650ti man that would make it gr8
nd get ram to 8 gig nd processor 6300 black
over clocking is a breeze with it
nd it would make your pc go whoom ......................................
hope it helped

Assemble it on PCPartPicker! Manufacturers send it the dimensions and specifications of their products to PCPP and they have a system where you select your parts and they'll tell you of incompatibilities!

Thanks for your answers!
I made some changes to my specs, I changed my GPU to EVGA GeForce GTX 750 2GB, and changed my PSU to 550 W, and lowered the RAM to 8 GB
But now I have a couple of questions, I'll appreciate your answers, here they are:
1. Is it true that Gigabyte motherboards suck for gaming, or don't last long enough?
2. Do you think my current CPU: AMD FX 6350 and GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 750 2GB, will cause a bottleneck on my system?
Thanks again

1. Gigabyte has a bad reputation for using cheap parts and terrible customer service. I know ASRock and MSI are alright, but ASUS probably has the highest quality motherboards.
2. Nope. The GTX 750 isn't that good to be bottlenecked by your CPU lol.
