Its less than $1 canadian more expensive, but you get:
- i7-6700K (vs i5-7600K)
- GTX 1070 (vs GTX 1050Ti)
- 240Gb SSD (vs 120Gb)
- 16Gb ram (vs 8Gb)

I know it doesn't look cool, but I can guarantee it will give almost twice performance in gaming against GTX 1050Ti. Newer AAA game require more than 4 thread, your i5 will become obsolete fast.

I know its 6th generation i7, but still far better than i5 7th generation. Do not worry about the cooler above, even with standard overclock from motherboard i7 will still outperform superoverclock i5.

Also its on special in amazon canada, grab it quick. Its very cheap today.

Good luck.

Get a better cooler and psu. Those are not good enough.

It will do the job and perform better than OP's i5+GTX 1050Ti.

The psu is within medium tier, not low tier. And the cooler will hold motherboard auto overclocking (boost mode). I think even the boost-mode clock of i7-6700K will outperform superoverclock i5-7600K in application/games that require more than 4 thread. Correct me if I am wrong.

The aim is to get best performance with the same budget (with safety consideration of course). That psu will not burn out as those build only require around 500W without overclock.

in term performance in application that can use more than 4 thread, which one is better between i7-6700K motherboardoverclock+GTX 1070 and i5-7600K superoverclock+GTX1050Ti ?

and reagarding psu EVGA 600B, see the 2245 review in amazon
https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-BRONZE-Warranty-Tester-100-B1-0600-KR/dp/B00EON40CS
and techpowerup
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EVGA/600B/11.html
and hardocp
http://www.hardocp.com/article/2016/04/28/evga_600b_entry_level_power_supply_review/9

I know its not the best, but its still decend psu

Amazon reviews??? Seriously???
Every psu unit will have a review in its favor somewhere or the other. Thats why these tier lists are created with efficiency in mind. Platinum/gold/titanium standard doesnt mean the psu is efficient enough.
Regarding 4core and 8thread, there is hardly any game out there currently that uses more than two cores. Some uses 4 cores at the most but those are very few. But that was not what i said about your list. I was talking about the cpu cooler and the psu unit which are not good units. Read it again.

Yeah, its just that this is the second time your said Evga 600B is a bad psu. In previous one (other question), I did gave you techpowerup and hardocp link, but it seem not enough for you. That is why I added amazon link since it represent direct user (although not all of them are good and might some fake marketing fabrication).

About cpu cooler, its not as good as cooler master 212 evo, but it will still do the job done againt normal overclock. Not all owner of K series has the ability to optimized like professional did. Not to mention if you think it will endanger the user, the i7 has fail safe mechanism which allow him to reduce the overly overclock (if he can set it).

Hardly any game that uses more than 4 thread? from Q4 2016, there are already Battlefield 1, Farcry primal, watchdogs 2 and Mafia 3. They are not shabby games title. Please do note that I build those with the $1 canadian extra against the original OP build.

I also noticed the i7-6700K is on sale which OP should grab it.

The only proper decent way is for you to suggest the better alternative within the same range of price. Saying its not good enough but with no better alternative (within the similar range of price) is kinda misleading OP if I do not react to your critic.

PS:
Tier Three

Some Haswell compatible, some not (maybe unconfirmed). Still safe to use and stable, just lower quality components. Not really ideal in serious overclocking or super-high load situations, such as a Bitcoin mining rig or a high end gaming system.

Did you omit "still safe to use and stable" ? And for overclocking, I put 100W extra from 500W recommended for GTX 1070. And we do know that nvidia always gave safe room in their recomendation.

Just google "evga 600b psu tomshardware" and you will get to know what I am talking about. Not to mention the reasons I have given you multiple times for the same along with the Tier List. There is no point going for a a higher cpu/gpu with a cheap psu when you have the risk/possibility that it can blow out both. I am sure if you ask any of the moderators over here, they will validate the same.

About cpu cooler, OP has already mentioned that he is goinf to OC the chip. The cooler you have linked is at best good enough for stock cpu clock. For overclocoking either a 6700k or a 75600k its not going to hold the temps. There is no point repeating "it will do the job" when you know that it doesnt stand a chance on competetive clcoks for reliable units like Noctua or Deepcool. Even Cryorig units are better at relatively cheaper price than the one you have listed.

BF1, Farcry, watchdogs, none of them uses more than 4 cores optimally. I never said 4 threads, donno where you are getting to that from. And i really dont understand why you are after 6700k when i never said that its a bad choice.

As for the alternative, I have already provided the build most suitable for the price range, with all decent quality parts and nothing cheaped out to accomodate something else.

Anyways, i think enough has been said and this is not helping the OP anymore. OP has got all the information he needs and will be able to make an informed decision.

$18 canadian more expensive now. But still worth it and you can overclock the cpu all you want.

"BF1, Farcry, watchdogs, none of them uses more than 4 cores optimally." Really?
and its watch dogs 2 and Farcry primal. BF1 uses 6 threads and the rest uses more thread. i5 only have 4 thread which already have problem (although currently minor) in those game.

"EVGA 600B PSU < Go with the 600B it's decent." said SR-71 Blackbird
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2301341/evga-600b-psu-cooler-master-series-600w.html
and he's a senior moderator in Tomshardware

That is the same list as you have posted earlier. No changes whatsoever.

How much of the 5th and 6th thread is used???
Show me.

Battlefield 1 Minimum Requirements
CPU: Core i5 6600K / AMD FX-6350
CPU Speed: Info
RAM: 8 GB
OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
Video Card: DirectX 11.0 Compatible video card with 2 GB VRAM (AMD Radeon HD 7850 / nVidia GeForce GTX 660)

yeah, I did give op 2 choices. I still stick with the cheap heatsink as it will be enough for moderate overclock i7-6700K that will perform better than super-overclock i5-7500K. And I add the original hyper 212 so that OP can overclock freely.

Go with Seasonic unit i have linked in my built. And its a far better unit. You can ask Blackbird about the same and he will agree.

Get any Noctua units. Even the cheapest ones are better than Cooler Master.

and the only fix is to scale down below 100% in order for cpu that less than 6 thread to work fine.

If you found any i5 that work less than 80% in battlefield 1, mostly they scaled it sown
