Will this be able to run games like Skyrim, Shadow of Mordor, Battlefield 4, etc.?

I will be taking parts from my old pc like 8gb of ram, a dvd drive, a 1tb hard drve, etc.

I am expecting there to be a little bit of bottlenecking in this build, if you have any recommendations for graphics cards that would be great.

You wont bottleneck at all, what you have will work fine.

You will be good to go with the games you play. Welcome to the glorious pc master race. The cpu as it stands will bottleneck some games and has the potential to bottleneck future games but the gpu will be the bottleneck before the cpu. My i5 will get 150fps in one game while you're cpu is limited to 124fps in the same situation. That wont really matter at all because most monitors cant even render past 60. You will be able to run any game out atm, maybe not at ultra settings with 4x msaa but medium high settings, closer to high at 1080p. you should be seeing above 60 fps and on those crazy demanding games, maybe 45. If you dont mind 30 fps then do yourself a favor and lock every game at 30fps. you will get twice the mileage out of the pc and if coming from a console, you wouldn't notice the difference and can even max out a lot of games that people like me spend so much money trying to get to 60fps with.
