I was just wondering if all these parts are compatible and if it would be an ok beginner budget gaming pc.

My case is a Enermax Ostrog GT

The motherboard is an Asus Z170-E

The CPU is an Intel Core i3-6100 3M 3.7Ghz LGA 1151 (with a Deepcool GAMMAXX 400 CPU Cooler 4 Heatpipes and 120mm fan)

The power source is a Rosewill Glacier-500M, Glacier Series 500W

My RAM cards are HyperX Fury 8GB (2x4GB) 288pin

My Graphics card is a EVGA GeForce GTX 950 DirectX 12 2GB PCI-E 3.0 x16 (w/ SLI support)

For internal memory I have a WD 1 TB performance desktop hard drive (7200 RPM SATA 6 GB with a 64 MB cache) (I don't know if my case will hold my drive because the drive is 3.5 inches)

And for the thermal paste I'm just using the Arctic Silver 5 High-Density compound

If you found any problems or have a suggestion just tell me and I will read it and try to reply. Thanks.

Thanks but other than that you saw no problems?

The G4400 is actually less powerful than the i3 because it only has 2 threads, lower graphics and isn't hyper threaded whereas the i3 has 4 threads and is hyper threaded.

But you're still going to get higher fps with G4400 + GTX 770 rather than i3 6100 + GT 730.....

and there's nothing stopping him to upgrade to i5/i7 in the future

The GT 730 performs the same as the integrated graphics on the i3 6100
