[SOLVED] Is this a good budget build?

Recently, my old, old PC has stopped working and I think it's best for me to just build a new one considering how old and outdated everything is.

Unfortunately, I'm not too tight on funds right now, so I was thinking about the following build:

AMD Ryzen 3 2200g
MSI B450 M-2 MAX
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz
Corsair c450W 80 plus
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L

Anything I need to improve regarding compatibility or other factors?

DDR4-3000 seems to be cheaper, Ryzen likes that, particular since that is also your video memory. Worth the investment even if it is a few bucks more.

Power supply could be a little better, depends on what you have to spend though.

What are you doing for storage? Seems missing from your list.

If within budget the 3400g is the better option imo. Will give the system a little more longevity.

I agree with Eximo, get 3200mhz or faster RAM, Ryzen benefits from that especailly if you are going to be using APU of the 2200G.

I would also suggest a 550 watt PSU such as the Corsair CX550 or CX550M so that if down the line you want to add a video card you will have plenty of room.

Work and some not-over-the-top gaming. I dont mind some fps drops, but if it's unplayable then eh.

That will work. Double check that the Ryzen 3200G isn't too much more. Decent clock speed gains to he had.
