Is this a Good Budget Gaming PC

I was wondering if this is a good design. I do some gaming, mostly just Minecraft with shaders (this is why I chose a 750 TI) and TF2. I do want to have a Quad Core for some things that do use more than one core. In general, I would rather use an nVidia GPU, because I would prefer the lower power consumption. My reasoning for the motherboard is that PCpartpicker does not say that I will need to update the BIOS prior to using the 860K. This is my first time building a PC, and I really want everything to go smoothly. As far as an OS, I really like Linux, so I plan to run that.
My budget is around $420, and I live in the US.

Is there anything that I should change to make this a better design?

I am asuming your budget is 450$ish. Spend less on your case, and more on your CPU. If you went with this build, it will work.

Will I have any issues with the BIOS? Also, I have heard mixed opinions on the quality of MSI boards. How is it?

The reason for the pricy case is that in this location, looks are pretty important.
