Is this a good build for high end gaming?

Can you guys tell me if all this works since its my first build and if the cpu cooler will fit in the case with the 3 140mm fans attached to it? Also all the costs are in Australian Dollars, so its $2638 AUD in total.

Its an awesome build. One thing, though, you might want to lighten up on the extra case fans as your Cabby only supports one extra 200mm on the top.

Overall though, you got yourself a gaming machine once assembled. (Still, lighten up on the fans! You dont want to buy extra fans that arent required.)

The CPU cooler will fit, no worries.

Yeah, im not actually going to use any of the fans that come with the case, im going to get the after market ones that i selected.

The 200mm one on the front, 2 120mm fans on the top instead of 1 200mm fan, and with the 3 fans on the cpu cooler, there wont be any room for the rear 120mm fan, but it does not matter because i am going to have the cpu cooler with 2 fans mounted near the rear of the case where it will still push air out!

You can downgrade your memory to a 1.5V CAS9 1600Mhz kit, the difference between that and the kit you have now is not worth the money really.

For that build I would change the psu to Corsair TX 750 V2 - $145

I assume you won't be going SLI, since that ASUS GTX580 will not let you SLI on that mobo as it uses a 3 slot cooler.
If you do want to SLI at some point i would recommend 2 changes:
Change PSU to 900W+ and get a Standard sized ATX motherboard
Such as:
MB: Asrock Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3 $185 - which would a good choice anyway instead of the Gene-Z
PSU:
OCZ ZX 1000W $219.00 or
Corsair HX1050 $265.00

Oh, well my bad, i did not mention that i wanted a balck/red theme for my case and the 750W psu that i want has a red led fan that will go nice and is also modular.

I only want 8gb or ram too! And why is the ram i want not a good choice, and why do you suggest to downgrade? Is 2133MHz not sufficient enough and load applications and games faster?

MSY is harder to navigate and have less range, also i find that PcCaseGear have good customer service and you can ask them to specially order a part for you that they dont have listed on their website.

Check out the previous link. It shows a benefit, but it's hardly worth the extra money have to spend on it.
If for example in games it gives you a benefit of 0.67 FPS ( 51 vs 51.67 ) it is not really worth $30.
