SPECS:

INTEL CORE i3-6100
MSI B150M NIGHT ELF
CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 8GB DDR4 2400MHz
ZOTAC GTX 1060 MINI 3GB GDDR5 192BIT
KINGSTON V300 120GB SSD
WESTERN BLUE 2TB
CORSAIR VS450W
AEROCOOL AERO-500

He's aiming to play titles like GTA5, NBA 2K17 and such and I think this build will get the job done. Well, I had my i3+750ti still performing well eith those games. So any commentsnor suggestions on this build? Should I change the PSU or will it be sufficient enough to power the whole system?

Solution
WESTERN BLUE 2TB ...5400 rpm only
CORSAIR VS450W ... crap psu
KINGSTON V300 120GB SSD ...crap ssd
CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 8GB DDR4 2400MHz ...you do not need a 2400mhz since your motherboard will lower your frequency down to 2133mhz ..so get 2133mhz instead

Well, the power supply isn't the best, but i think it can handle it.

About the performance of the games, depends, the GTA5 is a CPU intensive game, maybe it may have problems with that i3, but, if you're playing at lower resolution than 1080p, he wil have a good performance.

So far with m old rig (i3+750ti+8gb) I didn't have any major problems at all, its just that, whenever I try to open SELF RADIO, it lags maybe not that much of a lag but I would say that it stutter a bit, but too slight to be noticed that much.

- I think the RAM is being recycled from his previous build, but it works at 2133 as well.
- the Kinston V300 is a great SSD for the price, not crap.
- the WD Blue is a basic HDD, if he is on a budget then a good way to get 2TB. he's got an SSD to use as a boot drive anyways.
- I would pick a different PSU, but if you already have it then keep it if it has been working fine. If you are buying it new, then get something else!
