Is this a good build for video editing and 1080p gaming?

MSI Radeon RX 570 GAMING X 4GB
16GB Corsair RAM

Yes, that is a good build. 1080p won't be a problem, but higher than that will not be possible with an RX570.
Just make sure to get a decent quality PSU, Seasonic S12II, Corsair CXM 450W, EVGA G2,G3...

1080p will do really good. For just video editing, 1440p or 4k are quite possible, but 1440p or 4k isn't practical or isn't possible with just an RX-570 to play games.

Don't skimp on the PSU, or you'll have to budget replacements way too soon. And a good case is advisable.

Pretty good, If you consider an 8gb rx 570, just get a 4gb 580, they're the same money depending on the cooler.
