Is this a good build? i74790 + GeForce750

The purpose is for video editing. Not too worried about gaming, just would like video editing to be ultra fast and close to real time, and to be able to record and play games on medium settings.

How would the throttling be? I am planning on upgrading eventually, I just can get a 750 from my brother right now.

I suggest a 4790k instead of the 4790. The 4790k is 500 MHz faster than the 4790.

I would get an i5 4670k and an EVGA gtx 770. The graphics card will REALLY help with the video editing. The jump from a 750-770 is bigger than you'd imagine. Also, 16 gb RAM is a bit overkill for what you'll be using it for. I'd recommend the G. SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8 GB (2x4) which would take off $80 in the price. Another thing is your storage. Definitely get this: Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 500GB instead of your 250 GB SSD. That would take off another $75 in price. You'd save $25 in the end price, and have a better performing PC for what you're doing!
