You should be using a dual channel RAM kit . 2 x4 gig is about right , Make sure its rated for 1.5 volts or less

The GTX 770 is far better at that price

if u haven't realized the 670 is 4GB. i plan to watch movies and play games on a 36 inch TV

The extra vRAM doesnt do much

Size of the screen doesn't matter, resolution does. Also, unless your TV is 4K, 2GB should easily handle it.
