Is this a good build?

I'm looking to build a computer from scratch and these are the parts which i have chosen= http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2Kb6W The case is a Zalman Z3 Plus.

Will this be a capable gaming machine at 1080p and are all these components from reputable companies? Thanks

Yes, it's a good build. It can play BF4 at high settings with decent fps, for example.

Its' cheaper, better, and still powerful enough for your system. (For a system using a single Radeon R9 270 graphics card you need a PSU rated 500 Watt or greater with at least 28 Amps and least one 6-pin PCI-E connector. )

The PSU is not great. The CX line form Corsair is average at best. Change to an XFX550w unit. It will be more than enough power and WAY better quality.

Also, you can save some money and get an H87 motherboard because you will not be overclocking, so you have no need for a z87 board.
