For the price, it isn't. Even if it was cheaper, theirs alot of part's I would switch. I'd say spend the extra cash for this build, it'll deliver alot more performance and power.

There isn't much difference. The Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P is perfectly fine for a FX 6300 or any FX 83** cpu. it has a 8 power phase design and adequate cooling. I know a 990FX is the best of the best but it is not necessary if not overclocking heavily. There is not much difference in performance or power only upgradability to SLI or crossfire and slightly better overclocks.

Whoops, though I switched that thing, been a long day >.>. Although anyday, this build will kick that x4's butt.
I like it. I only switched out the case and powersupply to the previous one because i dont think i need a better one and i switched the ram to the old one because im going for a blue theme.

Don't get a Corsair VS, CX or CS series, they are mediocre. They use cheap caps internally and have a higher failure rate than the XFX 550.
