That seems like a really good build Do you plan on putting the hard drives in raid 0 because i think it might be more cost effective just to get one 4tb hardrive. (2 980's in sli, you're obviously not looking at the price )

No that build is total ****! Seriously it's flawless heaven. Why the multiple monitors? Have you considered a Titan X (I'm not sure on the performance differences between these and the 980's - also ASUS GTX 980 20th Anniversary Gold Edition could be an option? (http://www.asus.com/au/Graphics_Cards/GOLD20THGTX980P4GD5/).

If it was me I ditch the multiple monitors - don't see the point unless you're doing some rendering and possibly sink it into something else. Also a mate asked me to look at an X99 build and I found that MSI made some decent X99 boards - I'd go for an MSI for an X99 seemed to have the most connections etc.

Oh yeah just realised - with that many components crammed in you may be better off looking at a larger PSU?
