Updated, I put in a better case for cheaper.
 
Solution
The GT 1030 2gb is actually a decent card, I've gamed on it and it's surprisingly good for not being a "gaming" card. Even the passively cooled versions stay cool, around 56C under high loads. 1080P or less and it will game ok, obviously it won't do AAA games on high settings but a good amount of games should be playable with the system.

Also with GPU prices being so high this would be a decent filler until prices normalize and when they sell it to get a new card they won't lose a lot of money.
