Should I get a better case? Aesthetics don’t matter, all I’m worried about is that the cooling won’t be any good.

Extra information: I don’t plan on overclocking, my resolution will be 1920x1080, I don’t need more than 512 gb of storage, and I am not interested in amd.

DDR4-3200MHz ram kit, at the very least. You might want to look at the Samsung 970 Evo Plus. I would change the case to something more compact, IMHO, like the Corsair 220T.

I’ll definitely get the Corsair 220T, thanks!

I am a bit confused as to why I would need a DDR4 3200 MHz ram kit, when the i5 9600k only supports 2666mhz ram. Seems kind of pointless? And also, is the Samsung 970 Evo plus a lot better than Intel’s 660p? If not, I would rather save some money.

In my opinion, 3000MHz is fine. And don't worry about that 2666 part, once you enable XMP in the BIOS it will work at full speed. Upgrades like the RAM speed and SSD are just a matter of whether you want to spend that extra just to squeeze every last bit of performance out of the PC.

Personally I’d pick a Ryzen 3600 to 3700x over any i5. While the i5 does very well in benchmarks it’s already being pushed very hard across all cores in some games. It can also suffer lower ‘lows’ even if averages are higher. I just don’t feel it has any headroom for the future.
