[SOLVED] Is this a good build?

I have this potential build for my personal pc:
Motherboard: Asrock b450m pro4
Cpu: Ryzen 5 3400G
GPU: Vega 11 graphics
RAM: 8gb ddr4 ram (not sure which exact one to purchase yet)
Storage: Samsung 970 EVO 500gb m.2 ssd
Case: Masterbox Q300L
PSU: (can you guys help with this one?)
Cpu cooler: Noctua NH-L9i (will the AMD stock cooler work?)
Other: 3 120mm case fans from the brand Uphere

Is this a good budget build for casual gaming and maybe some 720p 30fps streaming? Also, is there a possibility that I could get a motherboard with the AM4 socket and DDR3 Ram? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks so much to everybody!

1. looks alright so far. IDK about the streaming but but gameplay should be fine, do not expect to max the settings in everything.
2. not really no. the memory controller ic built into the CPU, if you were to hobble that CPU with DDR3 the performance would be on par with a labotomy, that architecture, Ryzen 3, loves it the bandwidth. get a pair of sticks in a kit, a single stick is a bandwidth killer, go dual channel from the out.

PSU CX series by corsair with the grey label, S12II (not the S12III- way different unit) by seasonic or the m12II evo by seasonic (again not the III series) are my go to budget units.

cooler and CPU are both rated at 65W, DO NOT OVERCLOCK with that cooler. on par but smalklker than the stock cooler, stock cooler can OC a bit, more than the noctua which is meant for much smaller cases.

Very casual esports gaming yeah. Streaming with a 4 core cpu and 8GB of RAM, I seriously doubt that. 4 core CPU should be a last resort in 2019 as they are already not recommended for AAA games. Definitely depends on what you are trying to play but I’d save some money and buy a better setup. Spending way too much for a SSD for this type of build. What is your budget and we can try to help you out?

Well this is all just kind of hazy. I’ll maybe ask for some stuff for Christmas, but I’m thinking of buying things like the cpu and ram used. I mostly really have a budget right now, but I’m guessing $400 with buying some things used. Is there a way I can put 10-12gb ram in here? Thanks

This is what I would aim for. For $400 I’d buy an Xbox one and call it a day. $400 is a waste on a computer IMO. You’ll be wanting something new in a year and it’ll be a waste of money.

just saw this, that motherboard may need an update to support that CPU. BIOS revision P3.60 and above support that CPU, when shopping if you can look for a BIOS version above P3.60, it should be listed on the box.

Another point is if you go with a 3400G, the graphics pull from your DDR for memory. You will have some pretty bad stutters running 8GB.

What Power Supply should I get? I'm guessing a small like 430w one right?

as it is yes a 400-450W unit would fill the bill. if you add a GPU later you may as well plan for it by getting a bit more power in reserve now. I suggest a 550W unit, you can add any GPU to that system and a 550W would power it all.

It’s called personal preference. He could use a SATA SSD and never see a difference with what he’s doing. I wouldn’t personally buy a Sabrent drive and I’m not gonna recommend someone to buy something I wouldn’t.
