IS this a good case? Zalman Z3 PLUS

No that is not a good case. Go for Cooler Master or Corsair or Antec cases.

The Z11 plus and Z12 plus are better.

i got £250 to spend. im getting an MSi r9 270x and EVGA 600W PSU. thats around £205. whats the best i can get with the money left over? the Z3 PLUs takes it upto £251 when shipping is factored in. i thought it would be good as it has lots of GPu room, HHD bays and is made by zalman whom i thought were a good brand

@ SR-71 Blackbird, yes you are right I know that. To be very specific he has GBP 45 left to spend. But I couldn't find any better case to fit his budget.

whats the difference? i see it has a few more fan mounts and the same amount of drive bays, same amount of expansion slots. i dont see why its more money

i got it and its a great case. good build quality and TONs of space inside for a mid tower. 360MM GPu room! Only disadvantage is the PCi slot covers as they are the break off ones you find on cheap cases. but i cant complain. great thermals and has 4 fans included in the PLUS version. great case

USB is the standard connector for the motherboard if thats what you mean

I mean do they use the sort of block-type connectors (USB Headers) to plug into the motherboard or the small pins to plug into the motherboard?

Oh! yeah the block ocnnectors and it has a fan controller for two fans High and low. not much sound difference but hey its there

It's a good case, but just the case, the fans aren't. They have the lowest airflow i've ever seen. I also removed the front dust filter (that mesh) because it was blocking a lot of air going to the fans. I love the chassis and it's features, good looking, a lot of space inside, preety good cable management posibility, tool free HDD bays, power supply on the bottom. Five 120mm fans on it + 1 80mm fan inside can be mounted on it.
