You can swap in the other case, thought I nabbed the one you picked but it's all good. The important thing is you don't spend a ton of money on a Xeon processor, the I5 is all you need for gaming, it's pretty much the best out right now. Spend the money on a good video card though.

ok ill check out the video card. You did find the right case i just swiched it for one with a color i liked better Should i Add a video card for 2-Way SLI
also id like to use Linux operating system and the pcpartpicker dosnt have it where can i get that?

I think you'll have to download linux, either that or find a distributor selling the discs. Not 100% on where to get that though, I use Windows myself, if you're gonna be gaming, you're gonna want windows.

As far as SLI goes, try the one card first and see if that's not good enough for you. Your monitor is probably 1920x1080 resolution (1080p), and the 670 I have listed is a little bit overkill, as games become more demanding, that's when you'll want to think about SLI or buying a new video card entirely depending on how long you go before you need to upgrade.

ok thanks ill start with one card. about the gaming, are there any other things esides linux and windows? i realy jsut wanted linux beacuse i happen to know all the code and stuff
