I'm doing some decent video editing and some light gaming as well and this is what i could get fot $500

Accer Aspire ME600

Bios: P11 A-3
Processor: i5 3330 3.0 GHz
RAM: 8GB
1TB hard drive
Integrated Graphics. (no Graphics card)
OS: Windows 8.1
I would like to know also if it would be a good or bad a Idea to downgrade to Windows 7

hey...as u said u do some video editing and light gaming, the system u have is perfect......and about the idea of downgrade to windows 7,according to me windows 7 would be better..

Leave it at windows 8 if your software works with it i would say yes and because of drivers because they might not make drivers for that PC for windows 7 and if they did make drivers for windows 7 they might be very badly made or old and out dated. And i would say get a proper GPU so go out and buy one (any prefered websites?) if you are not sure on what to get ask on this forum. The rest of the hardware is fine for what you need and with the GPU if you do buy one tell me you budget and currency and i might be able to help you finds a good one for video editing and some light gaming maybe and how much video editing do you do because that might help you save money.

Yes, that pc is fine for what you do. But in future you should upgrade your cpu and gpu both as you do video editing. Video editing will be cpu intensive so you may need an upgrade in the future. So, upgrading to i5 3570 (you can get a 3570k if you overclock) or i7 3820 or 3770k and gtx 660 will be a nice and budget upgrade and will give you a huge boost in performance while video editing and gaming.

I usually get stuff from amazon or newegg and yeah! i was thinking about get a decent gpu but i dont know which one will be a good one for this computer, budget probably 100 - 150 dollar

I was trying to build a computer with that budget 3 days ago and everywhere I went they told me that it was better to buy a pre build computer than build one because of that it was not gonna be as good as if i buy a pre build one
