Is this a good gaming and youtube computer

Solution

Your original build is damn near perfect. This is actually one of those scenarios where an AMD 8 core is an ideal setup. FX 8350 is usually better for streaming/video capture while gaming. The extra cores have a big impact.

Use the SSD for OS and games. Use the HDD for video capture only, no swap/indexing/data.

Maybe go with the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P motherboard (still a good overclocker) so save a little money so you can get a better video card

Here's a test capture/stream using a very similar setup. GW2 is actually pretty well optimized as far as MMOs go, but still this is still a worst case scenario. You can judge for yourself how well it worked...
This is a good $700 build. Grab this for $1000:

your build look very nice. it should be over kill for youtube. should work for all games today.
just a question tho. why the Corsair H80i 77.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler? I would go for the bigger radiator since you are paying for about 100 buk for cooling anyways.
or just go for a Noctua if it air cooling.

just in case if you want to do Intel don't cheap on the Motherboard get the Z and not the H. also don't cheap on cooling too.
even tho i don't see much of a point of single video card for Intel but hey. there is nothing wrong with it too.

You beat me too it😛 There is nothing I would change here apart from maybe a bigger psu if you wanted more upgradability.

+1 for the NVidia/Shadowplay recommendation.

I've been extremely happy with my GTX 970, just from a gaming standpoint. I don't even use Shadowplay. But the price/performance of the 970 is too good to ignore, even with all the 3.5GB not 4GB memory complaints. Shadowplay is the whipped cream and cherry. :)
