I've written two other posts now and nobody has answered so I realized, and did the research and figured I'd made a massive mistake in my previous build. So I'm going to strip it and sell it for parts to help fund this new build I have, now I did some research but I wanted to get an opinion of people who know what their talking about, so what do you guys think of this rig?

I'm still sticking with AMD as it's budget friendly and tbh I just prefer them. Decided on a MSI gaming mobo, though i didn't read into any sli or crossfire, because I intend to run one graphics card so that doesn't really interest me, I chose the R7 260x instead of an R9 because it's just that little bit cheaper and in comparison on Gamedebate, it doesn't really seem worth the extra. I am cheaping out on the ram but I'll probably add more at a later date but for now this is my build. What do you think?

The i3 beats the FX in many games to be honest, it's a great little budget gaming CPU.

- Added better PSU
- Cheaper Ram
- WIth most amd builds, i recommend an aftermarket cooler.

However, an i3 will beat a 6300 in some games.

This is a good beginner build on the intel side.

On the intel side then, would it be a better gaming build overall or would it just be on par and excel in some places, or does the AMD win apart from some games? thank you for taking the time to answer :)

The 270x is a good 50% faster than the 260x and the Asus DirectCUii overclocks like a champ
1tb storage for almost the same price as 500gb
That zalman case has 4 fans built in plus a fan controller on the front
