Hi, I'm new to pc buliding and I'm looking forward to get a gaming desktop. I tried to build some and I ended up with this. I don't need monitor, keyboard or mouse. If your going with a unlocked "K" CPU then your going to want to get a "Z" series MB. Or swap that CPU to the I5-4590. I also changed the PSU with enough power to run crossfire (2 AMD GPU's) if you decide to later on. The rest of the build is good, happy building!

You should be able to run most games @1080P on high @60FPS, games will vary though but even on demanding games at the minimum would be med-high settings. Just make sure you keep your drivers up-to-date.

I found a cheap R9 290x. Should I use it instead of the R9 290?

Yea if you found one for a good price then go for the X version, should perform* much better.

The 290x is faster, so if you can afford it, I see no reason not to get it. This was the best I could do, in Euros, and staying in budget.
