it is good to run games on 1080p monitor.
i'd make following changes:

The build is good for 1080p, but there are a few thing I'd like to point out.
You don't need a cooler for that CPU, the one that comes with it is good enough.
Also, if you're buying a low end water cooler, you're better off getting some cheap air cooler like Hyper 212 EVO, it's gonna be quieter and maybe better, while also being half as costy.
There are better PSU options, Seasonic S12II, EVGA G2,GQ,GS,GS, SuperFlower Golden Green HX..Just google reviews for it before you purchase it, I trust jonnyguru and tom's hardware.

K CPUs are better used with Z motherboards.
Are you sure you need an i7 ?
750watt is a bit overkill.

I have changed the motherboard to Gigabyte GA-Z270-Gaming K3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard and I changed the GPU to an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card. I do know that the i7 is an overkill CPU for just gaming, but I will be doing some rendering and playing VR games.

I just saw your build and it has 1070 in it. If you're rendering it's fine, but for games 7600k with 1070 would be a lot better than 7700k with 1060.

TheWolfThatGames, can you wait few days for the ryzen review and benchmarks ?
it might allow you to get better system for the same money.
