Is this a good gaming build?

Hi guys

I'm planning my first gaming build and this is what I'm planning to use:

Intel i7 7700k
X62 / H115i
Asus Z270F
GSkill Trident Z RGB (3000 MHz ?)
Corsair RM 750x
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX TG
Samsung 850 evo 500 GB
Seagate Barracuda 2 TB
ASUS STRIX 1080 TI OC

How fast should the RAM be?
Should I go with the X62 or H115i?

Thanks in advance for your answer/opinion.

Solution
X62 Kraken = H115i if I recall correctly.
it's a solid build. 650W PSU would be plenty.
RAM speed doesn't matter too much. 3000MHz is fine, if you find a good deal for 2666MHz that's fine as well. With Intel the difference is like 2 FPS at best.
Usually the Enthoo Luxe is cheaper than the Enthoo Evolv and I personally prefer the Luxe but that's down to personal taste.

Solution
Can be greatly improved, a Ryzen 1700 now performs the same as a 7700k (both at stock) at above 1080p resolutions, and the added thread count combined with an easy 3.8GHz OC or higher if you want to tweak with it put it just past 1800X levels, and give it great performance.
Also costs less than a 7700k setup by a mile.
There's very little reason to go with Intel in the high end now, even exclusively for gaming, since they're pretty much neck and neck.
Those AIOs are essentially the same, I assume you want the RGB aspect of the x62 though, what's your budget?
I'll sort out the list for you.

Here is a video comparing different RAM speeds, you might be surprised.

Please refrain from downvoting me before first fact checking.
Look at all benchmarks above 1080p.
Frame for frame, not to mention DX12 and new APIs utilizing more cores, meaning improvements in the future. They're pretty much on par, and the 1700 can easily OC to 3.8GHz, above 1800X performance.

You're obviously not gonna get much difference at 4k 60 fps, you'll be GPU bottlenecked by a mile.
1080p144 and 1440p144 is another story and at that framerate, 20-30 fps is a big deal.

I part-own a PC store, I've tested Ryzen vs a 7700k both at stock, and at 3.8 and 4.8GHz OCs respectively, and both put out practically identical numbers even at 1440p 144hz, with the 7700k pulling ahead in Doom by a whopping 5fps.... comparing 197fps average on Intel and 192fps average on Ryzen...
People are blowing this 'high fps' Ryzen crap out of the water, Ryzen 7 is extremely capable.

I am not going to buy a 4 k monitor.
Maybe a 1440p 165 hz monitor or an ultrawide 3440 x 1440 100 hz. So the i7 is the better choice for me, thanks for that reply.

Either is fine really, but I see no particular reason to go with a 7700k over a 1700 due to the longer lifespan of the 1700 paired with other application and the gradual increase in performance it'll have, up to you, given it's supposedly more expensive for a 1700 where you are it'd be a good idea to go Intel on this one.
