This will be a very good pc for 1080p gaming. It will totally kill 1080p! If you go for an AMD cpu, I would personally take the FX-8320 or FX-8350. They are much cheaper and perform identical after overclocking. But definitely buy a proper psu to handle this system. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Have you looked at Intel I5 cpus? They have much better performance per core and run quite a bit cooler.

Not in my opinion. The 9370 is a 220w oven that often causes system crashes due to the motherbds VRM's overheating in just trying to run this processor. IMO, you need watercooling, I bleive is the only recommended cooling solution by AMD, and an addition fan pointed towards the motherbds VRM's.

In the $200 cpu price range I would recommend a i5-4690k build for gaming.

Btw- the i5 is 88w for comparison.

If you are building a new pc you should get a skylake cpu, can save money by getting a cheaper SSD(or no SSD) and a different case, also you can drop down to an i5 6500 or 6400 if you dont want to overlock, and get a cheaper motherboard
