I am going for a relatively mobile PC (Not too big, not too heavy). I`m only looking to use it for internet surfing, skyping etc. and gaming. In addition I might be doing som game recording or streaming.

Is this a good build for my use? Might it be overkill for my use?

Case - NZXT S340 Midi Tower Hvit
PSU - Corsair RM750i, 750W PSU
Motherboard - MSI Z170A GAMING PRO, Socket-1151
CPU - i5-6600K Skylake, LGA1151
CPU- Cooler - NZXT Kraken X31 CPU Cooler
RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2666MHz 16GB 4x4
Graphics Card - MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB
SSD - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD

I already have a big tower PC with DDR3 technology and i7-4790k. So thats why I think i should try a DDR4 build this time.

It is a really great PC, but the 6600k is definitely not an upgrade over the 4790k. In most games the 6600k will perfom (slightly) better but the overall performance of the 4790 is still better due to the hyperthreading.

Edit: Just checked some benchmarks, the 6600k and 4790k will perform about equal in most cases the 4790k will outperfom the 6600k most likely due to the higher stock clock speeds. However an overclocked 6600k will beat a stock 4790k

I really wanted to try a future proof DDR4 build, but I still wanted it to make it cheaper than my last build which included i7-4790k. Thank you for your answer! :)
