I am looking into buying a pc to play pc exclusive games such as RUST , THE FOREST , DAYZ , TF2 , MINECRAFT , COUNTER-STRIKE , etc. Are these components good?

Processor: AMD AM3+ FX-6300 14MB (3.5Ghz)

MOBO: Asrock AM3+ 970 EXTREME3

RAM: Crucial Ballistikx Elite 8GB (2x4GB) 1600Mhz KIT

HDD: Seagate 1TB SATAIII 64Mb

GPU: Gigabyte R9 280 OC 3GB Windforce

CASE: Corsair Carbide SPEC-01 RED LED

That is a difficult question. AMD have better multithread proccessing but intel has better per thread power. Also, intel uses less voltage so it has lower temps than AMD. It all comes to you to tell you the truth. I usually trust intel more on CPUs.

but what would you recommend on getting for performence?

My CPU of choise would be Intel Core i5-4690K with a MSI Z87-G41. You will have no problem and best gaming performance for your budget. Both cost about 290 euros + 250 for r9 280x + 100(about) for 8gb ram + about 60 for a good case etc etc. You are in the budget.

in my country the 4690k costs 245euros and the mobo about 90 euros and teh gpu costs 300 euros, 95 euros for the ram and to get a decent case its about 75 euros. I will check if i can get the parts form amazon uk for a lower price

Your country prices are higher than here. Hm. Ok. You can get the same CPU but not unlocked. Probably a Intel Core i5-4570. Meaning without a "K" at the end. You won't have much OC capabilities but you will also have no problems with gaming. The GPU try with a r9 280 (without "x") if you cannot afford the 280x.

If they are also expensive please provide prices to see where we stand.

I checked on amazon uk and i am gonna get my parts from there as i would save money and spend it on something else. i am gonna get the 280 for about 200 euros and the i5 abut 230 euros soo i saved about 60 euros there already

There are some 280x in my country for 250 euros or less. See if you can find any for that price. It's the best card of the category in my opinion. Only 5% slower than gtx 780 that costs 460 euros.

where are you from? england?
