Is this a good Gaming PC build?

I'm currently looking for parts that will make a good gaming pc, here is what I have thought of

CPU : Intel i5 6600k
Motherboard : Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
Ram : G.Skill Ripjaws V Series DDR4 3400MHz 2x8GB
HDD : Toshiba 1TB (Already Have)
Case : Coolermaster k350
GFX : ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX-1070 8GB Founders Edition
Power Supply: Silverstone SST-ST1000 G-Evo 1000 watts (Is this too much?)

If you recommend different parts it must at least be the same price

What 550 watt PSU would you reccomend? Brand, model etc

Corsair RMx, Seasonic G, and EVGA G2 are all good options for a gold rated 550w PSU.

Some slightly cheaper (but still good) bronze units are XFX TS, Corsair CXM, and Seasonic S12

Alright thanks for the info, one more question is that if I change my case to a NZXT H440 with 3x 120m fans and a 1x 140m fan with a liquid cooling system, what liquid cooling system should I use and how many wattage will I need now

Are you looking for a closed loop liquid cooler or to build a custom loop system? I don't have much advice on either method, but assuming you are just talking about a closed loop CPU cooler you can stick with the 550w PSU.
