PSU: Fractal Design Integra 500Watt

thank you for all of your replies :D

Honestly, that's a piece of crap. Pretty much everything is dying tech or low quality. You know you can do better when the case is the second most expensive part...

You should just give us a budget to list out some parts. Here's a very basic start for a gaming PC:

CPU/GPU: X3 440 and HD 5770 $225 after rebate
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 $80 after rebate
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $110
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB $70
Case/PSU: Antec 300 Illusion and Earthwatts 430W $105
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $18 (with promo code)

Total: $608. This can be made cheaper, but the basics (the CPU, board and GPU) are really the cheapest you should go.

It'd be iffy for WoW. MW2 isn't happening. You'd be building yourself into a corner too, so if it didn't, you'd just have wasted a lot of money.

Now that you've given a budget, here's a better build:

CPU/Mobo: X4 955 and Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 $243 after rebate (with a free game)
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $110
GPU: HD 5850 $285
HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB $55
PSU/Case: Antec 900 and TruePower 750W $165 after rebate
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $18 (with promo code)

Total: $806 (add $15 for the 1 TB HDD)

You're original build? If it would run it at the lowest setting (and at a low resolution), it wouldn't do it very well.

The two builds I posted would be much, much better. The second is starting to get to the level that you can start playing most games at the highest level of detail at 1920x1080 resolutions.
