Solution
For a used PC? Not really. Used PCs are not valuable pieces of hardware as a whole - individual components are usually worth more than the system as a whole.

An equal or better system could be built, brand new, for $500 or less.

The biggest problem is that this computer has a few years worth and wear and usage on it. Meaning the components are probably on their last legs and could crap out on you at any moment.

thats not under $500, uses all "bottom of the barrel" components, and also doesn't include windows.

Would I get it? No. But I don't buy used PCs.

Whether you want to spend the money is your call. With Cyber Monday tomorrow, you can get a hell of a deal one some components, or even a prebuilt from something like ibuypower.
