My budget is 700$ and i want to get better performance than the ps4 and play next-gen games on good settings and good fps. I found this and it seems legit but im not sure about the videocard because it's got 1 star on amazon. So what do you think? Is this a good build?

CPU - Intel Core i5-4430 3.0 GHz

Motherboard - MSI LGA1150 Micro ATX H87M-G43

Video Card - VisionTek Radeon R9 270X

RAM - Kingston Hyper X Blu 8GB

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 500 GB

Case - Thermaltake V3 Black Edition

Power Supply - Antec VP-450

Optical Drive - Samsung 24x SATA DVD RW

Grand Total: $680-$720

It all looks pretty good, you may want a better PSU though. Something like a 500W one from EVGA. And the video card chipset is fine, you may want to get it from a different aftermarket manufacturer, such as Asus, XFX or Sapphire. Overall it's a pretty good build though.

the ps4's gpu is equal to a 7790, the 270x is a rebranded 7870, so yes that system is better than a ps4. the reason the gpu got 1 star might be because of the specific brand, never heard of VisionTek gpu's. as stated above the 270x chipset is decent so no worries there.

That isn't too bad, but this will be better bang for buck:

And there will probably be someone who says that I essentially crippled the system by replacing the i5 with the 6300. And I will tell you why I did that. First of all, the ability to overclock. You have the ability to push the FX close to the performance levels of the i5 with a good OC. Also, the extra processing threads. Games are finally utilizing extra threads. BF4, for instance, will chew up every processing thread that you can throw at it. Then, you have AMD's Mantle API, which is supposedly right around the corner, and it holds massive potential. Also, I replaced the graphics card with one that is way more reputable and has way better cooling then the one that was preciously selected. I also put in a larger hard drive, a more reputable PSU, and a different case. Feel free to change the case as you wish.

Sounds good but im afraid of AMD .... just to clarify what do you think about this one?

Afraid of AMD? Why exactly would you be afraid of AMD? You are buying an AMD graphics card. You will get much less performance out of Intel in the long run in this budget range. Multithreaded games are showing up more and more, and overclocking will let you get quite a bit more out of a system later on.
