Is this a good gaming pc??

290 is a better card but the ones with a stock heatsink should be avoided. they are loud, and run hot enough to cause throttling.

But that 520w PSU is kinda weak for a 290 you'd want to bump that up to a 620w or larger unit.

Im going to start out with the powercolor radeon r9 380 and maybe after some time upgrade to the 290 with an aftermarket cooler. its my first build so I don't want to go to deep in yet. Oh, and would I need a wifi adapter to get wireless internet? It may be some time before I can get wired internet because my apartments router is located next to my tv, which isn't where my room is going to be. Would there be a good adapter if it isn't built in. I get that ethernet is way faster but I can't wait that long 😛
