Is this build great for gaming. It's around my budget. I have a moniter and mouse and keyboard already.
I'd like to play a range of games like overwatch, farming simulator 17 and battle front 2. But no GTA Vice, sorry if anyone likes it but it's not for me.

Yes, a gtx 1060 paired with Ryzen 5 1500x makes for a very competent gaming pc. However, make sure you include a decent cooler to go with that cpu. This system will dominate 1080p gaming and handle most games at 1440p, you may have some fps issues playing at 4K so be mindful of that.
