Basically all i am looking for is a good gaming system that i can also use to do any schoolwork. I'm not sure but i believe that the video card can support two monitors, am i correct in this assumption? Thanks for any help in advance, and any changes you make will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you get a good reliable brand like a Seasonic , XFX , Corsair not the CX Series , or Antec.

The graphics card can support several monitors via Eyefinity (6 screens or something crazy like that), but of course if you put a demanding game across two screens, the resolution may make the framerate plummet to unplayable levels.

The power supply is a serious concern, since it doesn't say anything about the make and model.

I would go with this config, but a GTX 760 instead (my preference).

Seems like an awful lot to spend on the motherboard and cooler, only to pick a CPU that can't be overclocked freely (just 400 MHz). Other than that a good build.

Yeah I wasn't really thinking ;D If you use the stock cooler and a locked motherboard you may be able to squeeze in a 7970. Also, in reply to everyone who says get a 660, note that in terms of multi-monitor setups, AMD has always been ahead.
