Is this a good GPU?

I'm purchasing a EVGA GTX 770 superclocked with dual fans and all that good stuff, my PC is specced for gaming. I will be playing at or around ultra settings on games like battlefield 4 and intensive games. Will this card fare well? Also, as a side question. My moniters native resolution is 1900x1200 with a 3000:1 image contrast ratio, does this mean it can only display up to 1200p? Thanks in advance.

Since nobody seems to have answered your question yet...The 2GB GTX 770 will be more than sufficient to play BF4 on max settings in 1080p/1200p provided you are only playing on 1 monitor and not 3. Also, 1200p will be your maximum resolution on your monitor without tweaking it yourself and messing up image quality.

My post was based on these benchmarks :

The last benchmark was done on an empty server, on a full 64p I doubt that shoob0x will get more than 60FPS on 1200p.

I'm not sure how much I trust these. I use a 7970 Ghz edition with a 3820 and my average is a full 10fps higher than theirs...and they use a better CPU. Furthermore, they are saying you get 8-9fps higher JUST by using win8? I don't know about that.

Well r9 290x(4GB) gets more than the Titan(6GB). These comparisons don't make sense, it's about the GPU architecture. What's this got to do with helping shoob0x out? IMO it will be a challenge to manage stable 60FPS on ultra(1200p) on a full server.

I might've sound a bit harsh in my first post. That GPU with 2GB of RAM will do fine for now, but I am not sure if it will be enough to be future proof as shoob0x mentioned that he'll be playing intensive games on ultra on 1200p.

Well right now a 2GB 770 will average him 60+fps on ultra in 1080p. I know this because my 7970 does it with ease, even on a 64p server. Obviously it will be a bit lower in 1200p, but I'd wager it's still very playable.

Thank you. Does this mean playing the game in ultra won't look any different than playing in 1200p?

The in-game graphic settings and the resolution are two different things. You can play on LOW settings in 1200p, or you can play on ULTRA settings in 480p, they are separate. The GTX 770 is a good card for 1080p gaming. You will get good frames in pretty much every game with ULTRA settings. The higher you raise the resolution, the more your frame-rate will drop though. You will probably have a 5-10fps drop when going from 1080p to 1200p. But like I said, the 770 is a good card, so you will likely play most games at 60+fps to begin with.

Alright, thank you.
