I personally see little reason to go for a 9700K over a 3700X. the cooler is obscenely overpriced. you don't need any more than a 650W PSU. Not really sold on the Strix card - imo just overpriced compared to other 2080S

but yeah, quality and balance is fine

Agreed, also putting a HDD with high end parts doesn't make sense as you really should have a SSD. Adding one in with some part changes allows for it and it's a bit cheaper.

My budget is around $2000 so its not that i necessarily want the cheaper options.
When it comes to the i7-9700K vs the 3700X is there really such a small difference? Most of the articles i've read recommend it over the 3700X if you arent going to utilize the 16 cores by rendering videos or streaming (which i dont intend to do)
