i heard led backlights were reallygood i dontknow though the roseblack doesn't have led

Yes, backlit monitors are better than the side lit monitors. From your description, the Asus looks better.

Asus is the way to go here. First, because of the backlight - which more equally distributes light - and the MUCH higher contrast ratio.

Never mind for that 1ms - you won't notice it unless you are super-human.
