Is this a good mic for gaming??

Is this any good for gaming and can i just plug the 3.5mm jack into my pc or do i need to buy some sort of amp thanks for any responses

This is a non USB condenser mic...so not only do you need phantom power for it, you also need an amp/dac inbetween that takes the XLR plug.

I wouldn't go for this.

Try a Behringer C1-U or another USB condenser mic, which is more or less plug and play and draws power from the pc/laptop.

Look into the Blue Snowball Yeti Microphone... It is high quality and SOLID for gaming and streaming!

Agreed. Blue make good gear. And all USB mics come without the hassle of amp/dac/phantom power etc etc etc.
