For nearly the same price you can (and should) get a GTX 950 which will outperform the 750ti and has better DX12 support.

Otherwise yes it will work fine at 1080p, in fact many games you can probably run high.

thing is, i already bought the psu and gpu 3 months ago 🙁 i think its too late

If you can return it do it, if not that GPU will still run most games at medium-high at 1080p so no worries. Just for nearly the same price the GTX 950 is the better deal these days.

Impossible to say for sure. There are already games (Doom for example) that specifically will not run on a 750ti. Now its only one game, but that trend could continue, or it may not. Impossible to predict.
