Is this a good monitor for 1440p gaming?

Been wanting to try 1440p gaming for a while. Found this killer deal on Newegg and was wondering if it's as good as it seems? Would 6ms be a noticeable amount of lag compared to my current 2ms response time? Is it a reliable monitor? Thanks!

Not exactly answer to your question, but: 2ms or 6ms is marketing nonsence, it does not tell you how fast the monitor is in any way. It is time how long it takes a pixel to change from grey to grey. It does not tell you how long it take to change from white to black and ESPECIALLY it does not tell you how long the lag is. In case of this monitor is it probably 40ms (if it is this one: http://www.digitalversus.com/lcd-monitor/acer-k272hul-p20417/test.html ?).
When searching, search for "input lag" not "GTG response time" if you want to know if it is good for gaming.
