Is this a good enough monitor for gaming? Will I notice much ghosting?

ACHIEVA Shimian QH2700-IPSMS Lite Edge 27" 2560X1440 LED Computer Monitor

Its one of those good but cheap korean monitors

They're good for gaming; ghosting isn't really an issue on IPS panels. As long as it has a single dual-link DVI input, your latency will be around 6ms as well, which is about the best an IPS panel can get.

You can get pretty much the same monitor from a number of different manufacturers, all use the same LG A stock panels that the achieva uses (the ones that didn't quite make A+ for use in apple/dell monitors), so shop around.

Yamakasi catleap (word got out about these, so the price is generally higher, even thogh they're functionally the same)
Crossover Q270
Potalion 2710QW (I use this one, got it off craigslist for $250 about a year ago)
Auria (sold by Microcenter)

there's several I'm missing, but you get the point.

The biggest difference between them, imo is the casing - whether or not you can fit one of the overclockable circuit boards in. The Yamakasi and the Achieva can fit them, the crossover can't, don't know about the Auria and haven't check mine yet.

good luck!
