Is This A Good PC Build For 1080p @ 60 Fps For The Next 2-3 Years And A Few Questions

Here is My FIrst PC build, It comes in at $1471 Canadian

CPU: I5 4690k
GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4g
Ram: Corsair Vengeance Pro
Case: NZXT S340
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
MOBO: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB
HDD: WD Black 1TB
PSU: Evga Supernova Nex 650W 80+ Gold Certified

I Have a few questions about this build
1. What are your opinions on this build, is there anything that I should change to make it better or more cost effective
2. Is this a good build for Overclocking, I plan on Overclocking the CPU and GPU
3. How long would you estimate that this pc would last me at Ultra/High at 60 FPS @ 1080p
4. I plan on building during march break but should i wait for the new amd 300 series instead
5. I Plan on putting the H100i in the front of the case so should i set it up as intake or exhaust
(The front is the only place that it would fit, and i couldn't find any clear answers on the internet)
6. Is the 3.5GB VRAM issue on the 970 really going to affect me if I'm only gaming at 1080p.
I plan on playing games like Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas with a lot of graphical mods and I heard that VRAM can be an issue when doing thinks like that, would i have any problems


Please let me know if my parts don't make any sense or if i said something dumb
I'm pretty new to this as this is my first gaming pc

It is a good build but I believe it can be tuned a little
The water cooler is expensive and not needed by a relatively cool running processor . Instead use a CM Hyper 212 and spend the money you save on either a 750 watt psu so you could add a second graphics card in the future
or
alternately a better SSD

I probably wouldnt bother with the costly RAM either . It might be worth it if you plan on trying for high overclocks but there is plenty of cheaper RAM that is going to be OK with an OC too .

The RAM issue with the GTX 970 is spurious . They perform as they do in the benchmarks . Its even probable that DX 12 will not even use large frame buffers so it will be less an issue in the future

why use a mini-ITX motherboard in that case ? and why get a 750 watt psu when there are no expansion options on the mb?

Ive heard that the hyper 212 evo is only good for mild overclocking and id like to OC to 4.6 Ghz, would the Hyper 212 evo be able to do that

would G,Skill RipJaws X be a better option for the RAM
Ill look into the faster ssd though
I dont plan on running in SLI so would the 650W be good for the build and overclocking
The EVGA 600b also looks good and is cheaper, would that be enough for the build with Overclocking

Samsung Evo 840 or 850 would be faster, take your pick which one you want. G skill is great I just installed some myself, go with 16 GB. Might as well go with the 750 because even though you dont plan on it you may change your mind in the future, price isnt that much different.

i would recommend this and have the radiator as a front intake so it isn't cooling by pushing warm air from inside the case through your radiator

Ok, After Reading Up on reviews, it seems like the KrakenX61 is the better buy despite being a bit more expensive. I Think I'll Go with the Msi board though,
Do You Think that i should go with the black or white s340, i have mainly red PC components

Alright, Final Question, Like I said, I Don't really plan on running SLI so would it be that bad if i got The 600w model instead. Would 600W be enough for the Build with Overclocking aswell but no SLI.
