The 100i cooler is a little loud for a liquid cooler I would go with air, sorry I can not offer an alternate
The PSU is a little underpowered
Would it work? Yes it could, but I would advise against the use pcie adapters on any video card worth more than 100 dollars

Seeing as you want to overclock you really should go for a good quality 650w PSU. A 450w is not up to it

I would say drop the CPU to an i5-4690k and get a GTX 980 instead. Much better gaming performance. This is unless you are just working with 1080p

i may not be the smartest but im not exactly sure what that is. (pcie adapters)
